Foreign cooperation

The Commission for Foreign Cooperation and Human Rights operates actively within the Regional Bar Council in Gdańsk and is responsible for developing cooperation between the Pomeranian Bar Association and foreign bar associations and international organisations by:

  • establishing new contacts with the foreign bar associations
  • participation in the work of the international legal organisations
  • promotion of attorneys from Pomeranian Voivodship in the field of provision of legal services to foreign entrepreneurs setting up their companies in Pomeranian Voivodship
  • organisation of visits of the foreign attorneys to Gdańsk and visits of Pomeranian attorneys abroad
  • organisation of bilateral and multilateral conferences, seminars and training sessions
  • organisation of internships for foreign trainees in the Pomeranian Bar Association (together with the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk)
  • organisation of internships for Pomeranian trainees abroad

Due to the location and dynamic development of the Pomeranian agglomeration, we encourage the representatives of foreign bar associations to establish and develop cooperation with the Pomeranian Bar Association in many fields of activity (zagranica@adwokatura.gdansk.pl).
